Built by a fitter, for fitters

I’ve been measuring, planning and fitting carpet and flooring for over 15 years, working on my own. I know the job inside out, and I know how much time disappears before a single tool comes out of the van.

Why I built it

What CutPlan does

A typical job went like this: turn up at a customer’s house, draw up a plan, take the measurements, then spend a good hour or more working out the best way to lay out the room shapes and get the most from the material. Every offcut mattered, and one miscalculation meant wasted carpet and wasted money. I looked for a better way and couldn’t find one, so I built it myself.

CutPlan takes the guesswork out of planning. Put in your measurements and it helps you work out exactly what you need, so you spend less time on paper and less money on waste.

Our dream is for CutPlan to become the industry standard for planning flooring jobs across the UK. We want to simplify the trade for every fitter, whether you’ve been laying carpet for decades and trust your old-school methods, or you’re just starting out and learning the ropes.
